Sean McClintock
Sean McClintock is a Producer, Director, Art Director, and Photographer currently based in Tucson, Arizona. He is available for contract in any capacity for Production of Film, Photography, Art Direction, and collateral Media. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Sean McClintock worked for his high school newspaper as a journalist and discovered the practice of making pictures as fine art and objects of creative self expression when he entered his sophomore year at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois, He then began several years of traveling across the American West, from San Francisco,, through the Rockies and Plains, and found his eventual home in the desert Southwest. Through his 20’s, Sean worked as a professional Chef, Winemaker, and professional Sailor, all while capturing film photos as an amateur photographer. After a couple years sailing around the Caribbean, Sean enrolled at the University of Arizona to complete his Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography.. During this time, Sean also worked on a three year NEA project with the Center for Creative Photography duplicating the entire 8X10 negative archive of Edward Weston, held at the Center. While managing this project at the CCP, Sean was instrumental in launching the Center’s present ongoing digitization of the photo archive, including working on several book projects. Sean produced reproduction prints for books and magazines from the CCP archive’s original negatives. Sean worked closely with contemporary photographers in preparation and exhibition of works by Danny Lyons, Ralph Gibson, Mark Webb, and others while at the Center for over 5 years. He began his professional photography career in 2004 shooting hotels for Marriot International, product for IBM, and fashion designers such as Jennifer Oullette. Sean moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and began working as an Art Director for NBC Universal on shows such as E! News, Fashion Police, and The Soup. Sean has worked in almost every aspect of Production of Television and Film and Photography.
Sean has also handled exhibitions with Terry Etherton Gallery for photo la, paris photo la, and Classic Photography Los Angeles. Sean is a master of Art Installation and Exhibition.
